Ford Ranger Caravan Adventure Fit-out

This was a comprehensive installation completed on a Ford Ranger, setting it up for reliable power and communication during extended trips with a caravan.

We started with the communication system, fitting a UHF two-way radio with a custom bonnet bracket for the antenna. This mounting position ensures  optimal reception while maintaining the vehicle's original look.

For power management, we installed a rear battery system that works with multiple power outlets:

• Anderson plugs for seamless power connection with the caravan.
• Rear canopy power sockets for campsite accessories.
• Dedicated circuits to maintain the main battery's charge.

To improve safety while towing, we fitted a Safety Dave camera kit, which offers superior visibility of the caravan and surrounding areas while on the move.
