12 pin trailer plug & Anderson plug to provide power to the caravan from the 4WD vehicle
This Toyota required a trailer plug for towing a caravan.
We've used a red and grey Anderson plug, as well as a a 12 pin trailer plug to assist the vehicle owner with providing power from his 4WD to the caravan.
- The red Anderson plug was wired to power the Electronic Stability Control for the caravan suspension.
- The grey Anderson plug was installed to apply charge power from the vehicle to the caravan battery system.
- The 12 pin trailer plug is to power the lighting system.
- A fridge control wire was also installed to power the fridge during travel.
