The heart of this setup was the GME XRS UHF two-way radio — a top-tier choice for reliable communication off-road. 

We installed the radio antenna using a bonnet mounting bracket, keeping everything looking neat. The bonnet antenna mount is designed specifically for Toyota vehicles, ensuring a solid, secure fit without any modifications to your 300 Series. This means better signal quality and no drilling into your vehicle's body panels

The addition of a GME RJ45 pass-through socket made all the difference. This feature lets you plug in the UHF handpiece controller when you need it. You can also disconnect it and store it away when you don't need it.

This setup is ideal for 4WD owners who prefer a clean cabin layout. No more cluttered dashboard or loose equipment when you're driving around; your UHF radio unit is safely stored away, out of sight.
